US military

Response for MANUEL SANDOVAL: He said US having the biggest military and protecting all over the world, so other country especially the country which has US military base and is protected by US like Japan should devote whatever they have, as a substitute. They are allowed to do anything.

However this is wrong idea because everyone should be punished if they do something wrong, even if they do something good job. US military have repeated such kind of crime, rape. Why they commit rape over and over? There are 2 reasons.

Firstly Japanese government don't punish theses criminal too much as not same as Japanese did same crime, sometimes they don't get any punishment. So US military regards Japanese government as powerless government. Because of that US military don't afraid of Japanese punishment. Japanese government should be more strictly against US military crime.

The second reason is US military may not be able to control their solider perfectly. If they can do, they should educate their solider not to do bad things. The bad behavior of US military is not only in Japan but other country, Iraq. There are much more criminal at there because there are much more difficult to control their solider according to Asahi newspaper. Do you remember the photo of US solider bullying Iraqi prisoner showed all over the world on the Internet for a several years ago? This is an example of out of control solider. US military should control and educate their solider.

I hope such kinds of crime never happen any more

That's why.

We are in IESA class, because we got the highest TOEFL score at first test and we wanted to attend this class. As the score shows, every my classmates are really good at English. I don’t mean everyone is good English speaker but everyone has, at least, a good ability like speaking, listening, writing or reading. I guess it depends on where and how they studied before entering this university. Some people who live in abroad are good at speaking, because they have more opportunity to hear English than us. Other people who study for entrance examination are good at grammar because Japanese education think much of grammar.

As for me, I live in 18 years in Japan and I am not good at grammar, so It’s seems why I could attend this class. The answer is I studied TOEFL hard to attend IES class. Because my English teacher said that every KGU student is really good at English so you would be inferior if you didn’t study hard. After passing entrance exam I decided to study English and in order to get high motivation, she gave me a goal to attend IES program.

Fortunately, I could attend IES program, surprisingly IESa class. I really delighted because I think I can’t even attend IES program. At the first time I took IESa class, I really nervous because many students could speak English so fluently, some student taught me grammar when I had grammar problem. I really worried whether I can stay or not in such environment. However, in other words, I should take these advantages to improve my English skills. I will keep my effort.

Onigiri

Helllo!!! How are you? These days, I often buy and eat rice ball as a break first. It is because that I can't wake up early morning. I don't know why I may tired. But it costs too much, one rice ball cost more than 120yen!!! and as you know I always eat a massive amount of meal. I eat at least more than 5 onigiri for break first. So I have to wake up early and make my breakfast in order to reduce my expense. Why?

I have a question for you. When did you buy cloth for the last time? I did' t buy them in this a few months. Recently I wear what I wore at spring. I need the cloth for winter!!! or I will freeze to death. However, I can go shopping with my friends this weekend. I need money money money! Give me money!!!
Anyway I will enjoy shopping. See you.

Betuni

What are you doing on your weekends. I want to explain about my weekend, 3 holidays. On Saturday, I took TOEFL. As for listening...so so. As for structure...better. As for reading...awful. I found that I could not read as fast as I used to be. So I decided to read our weekend assignment as fast as I can. After taking test I went to friends house. When I got to back home, I found that I lost my bicycle key. Someone seems to stole, who might be my fan.

After finishing assignment on Sunday noon. I did not have anything to do because my friend had to go for part-time job. So the only thing that cared me is Television. I made it a role not to watch TV in my house. because I think it is waste of time. so it is first time to watch TV program in 6 month. I realized that there were so many new commercial and TV talent which I don't know. I could enjoy watching. It is good way to kill time if you really have nothing to do. Through the many TV program, I found the most of all television station broadcast ed same particular information. What I got was scandal of Sawajirierika and Sumo. I guess that everyone already know about it, so I don't have to explain about 2 scandals, hahaha.

I really appreciate to my key lost. I can get latest information.

Ktakana jargon

The language and word are changeable like slang. We sometimes have difficulty to communicate with some new words. We also have difficult to communicate with even Japanese if they live in different area.

Tomoko Otake said that recently massive amount of foreign words came in to Japan and Japanese often use them. It is since 1868 in Maiji era after national isolation, many foreign thought or idea come in to Japan with words because it is easier to understand foreign thought with foreign word and Japanese adapted with them. However too many foreign words are coming in Japan and people use that words too much. They abuse and misuse, which makes people difficult to understand each other. Moreover many politician use that in an important speech, as a example former prime minister Sinzo Abe used many katakana jargon words in his general policy speech, which make many people and also even politician confused. I think we should not use such a word in front of public if you want everyone to understand what you want to say.

However I don't think people should not use katakana jargon every time, because some jargon give us very impressive impression, especially advertisement. Many company use katakana jargon like, including first article, kuwashikuhaWEBde. I like this slogan because it has good rhythm, so people can remember this slogan, CM and company name and product easily. As many media use many katakana jargon, we have to learn katakana jargon in order to get new information.
